Opening VBA editor for mappoint

I've programed across MS programs before using VBA and I just got the trial version of mappoint. How do I open the VBA editor for an instance of mappoint? Can you record macros in mappoint? I'm just wondering if i'm just not finding these features or if they don't come with the trial version.

Thanks.

The trial version is the full program, so you are not missing anything.

MapPoint doesn't come with a VBA Editor itself, you have to program it from something else like Excel VBA. See examples at

Working With Excel and MapPoint - MP2K Magazine (http://www.mp2kmag.com/excel)

It can also be automated via other programs like WSH, .NET, Perl and Python, see articles at http://www.mp2kmag.com/articles

Other popular options are Visual Basic 6 and C#, check out the books MapPoint for Dummies and Programming MapPoint .NET respectively.

hope this helps,
Eric

Thanks a lot! I figured that might be the case, but I really didn't want to find out somewhere down the line that it was there and I just missed it.
