Showimportwizard ..no select type of map

Hi,

I'm implementing the showimportwizard, which is allowing the selection of the file and the mapping well enough, but -unlike in Mappoint proper -after selecting the file it does not give the option to select a map type. It always just maps a pushpin map.

Any ideas on how to envoke the select type of map screen of the wizard?

Never used it, and never used the import thing in MP itself, so I dont know. But a workaround is simple if you popup a menu of your own to let the user choose. Other workaround (even nicer) is to not use the wizart and make your own wizard (which I mostly do). I know this is maybe not a great advice but it's the only one I can think of :)

Thanks for the ideas. (In fact we solved this problem, by first firing the
load wizard, then the mapping wizard, one after the other, thus getting the map (dataset) and then configuring it).

You point is well taken; for now - for lack of time reasons - we are using the wizard...but in the furture hope to implement our own.
