Map Detail Problem

Hello.

I am trying to create a map of the 48 states using shaded regions to identify the hispanic population divided by total population. I am doing it by zip code.

The problem is, when i zoom out to the full 48 states view i can't see any of the shading.

I need to print the map at 48 states zoom, with the zip code showing up in high detail. How would i do this?

Also, is there any way to get an updated 2006 or 2007 demographics database?

EDIT: Is there a way to zoom in close, but select and copy the whole US map, so i can see the shading and paste it into Photoshop or something and print from there?

Zip Code is a bit low level to view at the national level, maybe try doing a map by state - or county?

I don't think if you zoom in you can copy the whole US map.

There is a guy in here who has done a lot of work with tiling and getting detailed large maps out of MapPoint, you might contact him:

You might also try this --
Large Image Export Utility - MP100-LPU (http://store.spatialpoint.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=17)

Thanks, Eric.

Yep, I can do that. It will definately be 36 x 48 or larger,
but you'll be more than pleased with the result.
