Anyone have any recommendations on Scheduling Software integration with MapPoint? We have 12 trucks on the road and want to keep mileage and driving time to a minimum.

Hi there,
This software doesnt integrate with MapMaker but it does have it's own mapping integrated with it.

TourSolver from geoplan is good at planning delivery route schedules that save our fleet time, fuel, and money. It is surprising how much can be saved by taking the 'right' route!

Route scheduling with TourSolver software can reduce distribution costs (http://www.geoplan.com/Mapping_Solutions/GIS_Mapping_Software/TourSolver)

I believe the company also has a plugin for TourSolver that updates schedules on-the-fly using standard Sat Nav devices like tomtom. This is probably more useful for on-the-road sales people so they can manage their appointments and save on fuel.

If anyone is interested, that plugin for TourSolver is called Tomtom Visit Manager - so I guess it's for Tomtom sat navs only, but I'm not sure.

Info here: Plan routes to appointments and prioritise visit schedules while on the move (http://www.geoplan.com/Mapping_Solutions/GIS_Mapping_Software/TomTom_Manager)

Wonder if this would be any good for taxi drivers?
