<p>Miguel Helft has an <a href="http://www.iht.com/articles/2007/07/26/technology/maps.php?page=1" target="_blank">article in the Herald Tribune</a> focusing on web-based applications for Map Making. Collaborative markup of the world has been an interest of mine for many years and**even though the article doesn't get into too much detail on capabilities or where this is heading, its great to see what was once a very niche topic getting broad exposure. <img src="http://c.services.spaces.live.com/CollectionWebService/c.gif?cid=3151506992847969176&page=RSS%3a+Herald+Tribune+on+Web+Map+Making&referrer=" width="1px" height="1px" border="0" alt=""><img style="position:absolute" alt="" width="0px" height="0px" src="http://c.live.com/c.gif?NC=31263&NA=1149&PI=88469&RF=&DI=3919&PS=85545&TP=virtualearth.spaces.live.com&GT1=virtualearth">
