mapforums may be getting faster soon.. the vBSEO product we have installed to attract more traffic is encrypted with Zend Guard
( Zend Guard / Products / Zend.com (http://www.zend.com/products/zend_guard) )
which while it protects the intellectual property of the makers of vBSEO, also apparently slows the execution of the software... see

Although there is no ETA, I have heard vBSEO 3.0.1 is coming out soon, so there could be less load and mapforums could become a but faster soon...

This new version of vBSEO is installed so you might notice a speed increase on the board? I hope so. Also I hope the ISP notices a decrease in load on the (shared) server and stops threatening to move us to our private server which would be expensive :-)
