<p>The State of California just launched a new <a href="http://www.schoolfinder.ca.gov" target="_blank">School Finder application</a> which allows parents new to the state find information about their local school and how it compares to other schools in the region. There's a video on the homepage featuring Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger providing some background on the application, err uhh, I mean Scholastic mashup. The video indicates the application was built in partnership with Microsoft and Google to insure it used the latest technology and was easy to use. <p><a href="http://www.schoolfinder.ca.gov" target="_blank"><img style="border-right:0px;border-top:0px;border-left:0px;border-bottom:0px" height=533 alt=image src="http://byfiles.storage.msn.com/y1pTcqBXnZTBA-cFxdje_iSIh6bDLBBgjNAsIIW08xgwe0ftS9ULZK3ghc9DGiXS Uk84aQfPpYVpIc?PARTNER=WRITER" width=595 border=0></a> <p> <div style="padding-right:0px;display:inline;padding-left:0px;padding-bottom:0px;margin:0px;padding-top:0px">Technorati tags: <a href="http://technorati.com/tags/California Schools" rel=tag>California Schools</a>, <a href="http://technorati.com/tags/Virtual Earth" rel=tag>Virtual Earth</a></div><img src="http://c.services.spaces.live.com/CollectionWebService/c.gif?cid=3151506992847969176&page=RSS%3a+California+Employs+Virtual+Earth+to+Po wer+SchoolFinder&referrer=" width="1px" height="1px" border="0" alt=""><img style="position:absolute" alt="" width="0px" height="0px" src="http://c.live.com/c.gif?NC=31263&NA=1149&PI=88469&RF=&DI=3919&PS=85545&TP=virtualearth.spaces.live.com&GT1=virtualearth">
