sorting stops when importing from excel?

I'm importing a lot of stops for different truck routes. The excel workbook I have already has the stops in stop sequence and theres a column with the stop number for each stop. Is there a way in mappoint to sort the stops automatically according to what I have in my excel sheet in the route planner box? Because when I add pushpins as stops, mappoint puts them in some order on its own and I have to keep moving them around which takes awhile. I'm also using a pushpin map if that helps. Thanks.
