How to throw a DriveTime shape object on the MapPoint Control

I observe DriveTime is type 5 - same as custom poly for shape.

I'm using vb6

I wish to allow the user to specify a central point + distance - and derive drive time distance.

I mainly want this for the custom poly it generates - it's a nice convenient poly for the user to work with - GRANTED it will have n+too_many_pts - but it's desired believe it or not.

So, given a MapPointControl

any thoughts on how to add a shape that specifies DriveTime ? where I specify the DriveTime distance from a centroid lat lon ?

ANY - thoughts or insights welcomed - oh come on, oh wait, I think I said it best the first time!
