Creating polygons

Hi!

I am new to Mappoint 2006 (North America version), and I want to draw subregions in Brazil by creating polygons existing in a .bln file. I have no chance on doing that because it seems that Mappoint does not support this type of file.
I'm a student that is making a project for university, so buying licenses is not an option...

Thanks for your attention and sorry for my english.

ZeEstebes,

My English isn't as good as yours!

Are you addressing a problem in the desktop product?
If not, try asking your question in this forum:

He says North America version and MapPoint 2006 so it sounds like...

Buying a license wouldn't help any if you already have the software, there is no "extra" functionality.

I'm not sure what a BLN file is... try searching in Google for something that will convert BLN to either mif/mid or shape

bln file GIS - Google Search (http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rls=GGIT,GGIT:2007-02,GGIT:en&q=bln+file+GIS)

mif/mid or shape can be imported to MapPoint using the Spatial Data Importer developer sample.

Eric
