Can the optimize feature be disabled in 2006

Good Day
I route meal deliveries. I am using MapPoint 2006. I have imported my points and want to manually route them with my logic. MapPoint appears to automatically optimize with their logic as I choose pushpins. Is there a way to disable this feature.
P.S. I am relatively new to MapPoint.

Do you mean the routes between the pins, or the order of the pins?

Optimizing the order of the pins is an optional feature. There are two route-finding buttons on the route panel - press the other one instead.

Finding the routes between pins: Yes MapPoint will do this and not let you define your own routes. If you just wanted to draw them, then I suggest you avoid routes completely.
Then draw (using the freeform drawing tools) a line as required.
