Can you disable the optimize feature?

Good Day
I route meal deliveries. I am using MapPoint 2006. I have imported my points and want to manually route them with my logic. MapPoint appears to automatically optimize with their logic as I choose pushpins. Is there a way to disable this feature.
P.S. I am relatively new to MapPoint.

Hi Rick,

MapPoint does not automatically optimize, it only calculates a route.
In the Route Planner, you have to actually press 'Optimize."

Note that you can place preferences on each segment by going
to the Route ... More Options menu for a Driver Profile.
