MP 2006 VB Control - ImportData Method 10,000 POI Limit

I need to import 150,000 POIs on a monthly basis. I know the off-the-shelf version of MapPoint 2006 limits the imports to batches of 10,000, but is there a way to import more using the MapPoint 2006 control ImportData method within a VB.NET application?

I have been unable to find any parameters to control this and by default, it appears to only import 10,000 records.

I don't think so, but can you separate it in several batches, or eventually using several maps in same applicaiton?
