<p>This probably won't be out of beta til next year, but I thought some of you would appreciate an early look at our next generation geocoder in action. Most of the kinks are worked out but we need to figure out how to provide a steady supply of sugared cereal to boost throughput. <div style="padding-right:0px;display:inline;padding-left:0px;padding-bottom:0px;margin:0px;padding-top:0px"><div></div></div><img src="http://c.services.spaces.live.com/CollectionWebService/c.gif?cid=3151506992847969176&page=RSS%3a+Sneak+peak+at+next-gen+Live+Maps+Geocoder&referrer=" width="1px" height="1px" border="0" alt=""><img style="position:absolute" alt="" width="0px" height="0px" src="http://c.live.com/c.gif?NC=31263&NA=1149&PI=73329&RF=&DI=3919&PS=85545&TP=virtualearth.spaces.live.com&GT1=virtualearth">

Next year meaning 2009? Wow, thanks for the preview.

I haven't tried it yet, but what is to prevent GIS programmer/hackers (like me!) from using it?

"Serious geocoding for deadbeats."

Oh you....

I would complete that sentence except that this is a family forum.

I've seen this before and we actually ordered large maps which are hung above our kids bed.

We try to teach our kids (aged 1 and 3) a country or two each day, and the older one is very selective about what she "wants" to remember.. it's child psychology. Which I apparently suck at.

But she's super at puzzles!
