Highlight Color

We have recently finished a simple routing project for a client. We are using pushpins that are transparent and highlighting each point on the map. The maps look great printed in color, but in black and white, the yellow highlighted areas do not really stnad out. Is there a way to either change the highlight color or make the highlights stand out progmatically?

I really don't think you can change the highlighte color. Maybe a different pushpin would work better. Another idea might be to draw a shape around each pushpin programmatically?
