2 Questions from a new user

1. I want to show only the territory I designate - I would like the surrounding areas to not be visible- after reviewing this chat room it appears this is an advanced feature and not supported here - can anyone guide me to where I could find help on this?

2. I would like different choices for pushpins - does anyone have a good site they use to import custom pushpins?

The only way to do #1 is to copy the map image into a drawing or paint program and edit out the parts you don't want. Depending on what you need, you might try different map styles to minimize the amount of extraneous info you have to delete. (The Data style for example gets rid of lots of roads and other labels. But then they won't be there inside your territory either.)
