Hey again,

I need some more help.
Is there a way to pause the map in its current state without closing? I'm going to have a lot of routings and the redrawing of the map is getting on my nerves.
There is already such a thread ( http://www.mapforums.com/pause-mappoint-display-prevent-close-900.html ), but there is no answer.
Thanks for help.

The Application has a property "Visible". You could try temporarily setting it to False and see if that solves the issue.

This is what MileCharter does - it has an option to hide the whole of MapPoint. It makes it run a little quicker as well.

It can make it hard to halt as a user, though :-)

Good. I was thinking there might be a way, I sort of remembered a "Set Map Redraw Off" map setting I used to use a lot for cases like this, but that is MapBasic for MapInfo Pro! It doesn't look like MapPoint has an equivalent setting. Or the equivalent would be to just make MapPoint not visible for a while.
