| Smart Web Portal in the Cloud Daimler AG has been marketing the smart fortwo electric drive since the middle of December. When the battery is charged, the car opens a connection to the internet and starts to communicate with Windows Azure. The application was developed jointly by Daimler and Microsoft and it allows the driver to continually follow the charging process of the battery, to display the current location of the vehicle and to find the nearest charging stations on an interactive Bing Map.
