I've been playing with Mappoint and Excel for a couple days now, and I can get it to do lots of great things, but I can't get a nice status dialog to come up. During a normal import (through the import data wizard), while it is mapping the data, there is a nice little animation to pat the user on the head that something is indeed happening. If I automate everything, I can't get a similar status dialog to come up? Is it possible? Any thoughts?
