| Strange MapPoint exception Does anyone have any idea what to do about this error? I get it on several machines, and it has sometimes crashed my program. I got this from the Windows XP Computer Manager Event Viewer. The description for Event ID ( 1000 ) in Source ( Microsoft MapPoint ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: mappoint.exe, 11.0.18.1900, mappoint.exe, 11.0.18.1900, 00135d19. One time I also got a low memory exception at the same time as this exception was thrown by MapPoint. Thanks, Bob         |

Are you running MapPoint across a network? I would check what add-ins you have installed. Perhaps try uninstalling those. THen uninstall MapPoint and reinstall it. Richard
