Switchboard Launches Send-to-Mobile Capabilities and New Features to Help Users Find Local Businesses Quickly

Mobile directory options, enhanced Yellow Pages data and new mapping technology enable more intuitive local search experiences

-> Send-to-mobile phone capabilities -- Switchboard.com users will be able to send contact information about a business or person directly to their mobile phone right from the web site. The functionality will be available on most phones through all major U.S. wireless carriers.
-> Microsoft MapPoint Web Service -- Microsoft MapPoint technology provides Switchboard.com users with enhanced local mapping capabilities and directions, including the ability to display multiple Yellow Pages listings on a single map so customers can better understand where businesses are in relation to one another.
-> Enhanced movie theatre listings -- Switchboard.com users can access in-depth data about local movie theatres nationwide, including movie listings and times, as well as the ability to purchase advance tickets online to more than 1,100 movie theatres nationwide.
-> Enhanced ATM listings -- Switchboard.com will provide users a comprehensive offering of ATM listings nationwide and the ability to display those locations on a map.
