When I export data from MapPoint to Excel, the spreadsheet that is created already has tab names. Is there a way I can control what the tabs are named before the data is exported, or do I have to manually rename each tab? I'm asking because the default tab names are misleading.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not really... unless you duplicate the functionality as a custom program. (For instance, the Pushpin Tool does this to some degree with it's export function.)

I guess it depends on how badly you want it. If all it takes is a few seconds to rename the tabs then it's probably not worth a custom program?

Yeah, I don't really think it is worth the trouble. I was hoping that there was a quick solution, but I will just continue to rename the tabs myself. Thanks for the help.

Are you doing it a lot? e.g. more than once per day.
