You could certainly code to export the values in the textbox using the objShape.text property, but as for already easy in Mappoint, I don't think you can do this.
WHAT DO MEAN BY CODE TO EXPORT AND WHAT IS OBJSHAPE.TEXT? I HEARD ABOUT THIS BEFORE BUT NEVER KNEW WHAT IT WAS.
I'M PRETTY SURE ITS C CODE, I'VE TAKEN A CLASS IN IT, BUT I'M NO EXPERT![]()
jdwhyte is referring to the object model. This is covered in the help documentation in MapPoint.
Most people access it using Visual Basic.
Anything that supports COM (eg. C++) should work - personally I use C++.
If you're looking to hire someone to export all text boxes to a file for import into Excel, I (or someone else on this forum) could be hired to do it...
