    Text Box & Custom Pushpins

    Why if I add a textbox manually can I make the line colour "No Line", but what I assume is the VB equivalent
    objMap.Shapes.AddTextbox ObjCenter, 40, 20
    i = i + 1
    objMap.Shapes.Item(i).Line.Visible = False
    Doesn't hide the line.

    Is ther any way of making the text box "Fit" the text. It seems that the box is twice the size of the text resulting in overlapping boxes.

    How do I design a custom Pushpin (Smaller circle than on the standard pushpin selection)

    I tried your code snipit and it hides the line (Border) for me. ?

    You will have to come up with a way to size your text box based on how much text you put in there. Nothing built in to autofix (That I know of)

    As far as custom pushpins go, you can import something you have created in a paint program, look in the MapPoint help file (MAPPOINT.CHM) for the Symbols Object and Symbols Collection. There is a good code example there.

    Thanks, John,
    It appears we are both right. If there is no fill then the border must be visible and vice versa. I was trying to get a tranparent fill and a transparent border. Doesn't seem possible, though why, I can't imagine
    Custom pushpins works a treat Thanks
