Is there a field length limit of 255 characters?
I use the LinkData method to link a dataset to a file. The file contains a field with data over 255 characters but when I look at the balloon text it is truncated at 255 characters for that field and also the Value property of the Field object is also truncated at 255. Is this a limitation of MapPoint?
Yes, this is a limitation.. can you break it up into multiple fields?

Yellow Belt That is a possible workaround since it is just a Notes field. Thanks for the suggestion and confirmation on the limitation.
