I have MP 2004 ActiveX integrated with my program, and could make the switch to 2006. But because of the frequency of lookups, and the low cost nature of the industry I am in, I could not justify paying anything for mapping information on a per use basis. So the MapPoint web service is not an acceptable solution for me.

I would like to use MapPoint ActiveX in Australia. Does it work there? I have only used America, and that version provides for North America only as far as I know.

Is there a way to get ActiveX for Australia?

Hi Bob,

There is no version of MapPoint (CD Product) for Australia.

There are only two versions, North America and European Maps.

Can you look into the Virtual Earth platform?

I think depending on how you're using it's free.
