TOOL/GPS Menu action

What is the command/action to access the TOOL GPS Task Panel programmatically or in my App Menu?

I am using the mappointcontrol ocx in my app and wish to receive GPS NMEA data to track my location. First I need to setup my GPS Receiver and do not have any Menu items visible/displayed as with the Mappoint Application.

TIA

Paul

Hi,

Just receive the data in your application, and if you wants to display somethign then add / move a pushpin. You have your application using the map, wy should you use internal mappoint calls ?

Good Idea. That is what I did. The setup is done by a seperate application on each PC and stored in an INI file. The Map application reads the configuration INI and uses the parameters accordingly.

Thanks for reading and replying.

Hi,

Glad it works for you now. You could consider instead of a file link, using a TCP session or other way to communicate between the both programs.
