MapPoint doesn't allow users to bring in their own core map data, but through the object model it is possible to bring in vector data like ESRI/MapInfo formats as a drawing overlay. Microsoft will soon be releasing sample code that demonstrates how this is done. I'm not sure what the best source of topographic data is - maybe you should check at www.topozone.com or another GIS data vendor. |
