| Toucan Navigate 2007 Beta Available Information Patterns today announced the release of Toucan Navigate 2007, a desktop mapping application that provides people with a simple way of creating meaningful maps immediately. Toucan Navigate displays satellite images and road maps from MS Virtual Earth in the background, so that users can focus on displaying and analyzing their own GIS map files or spreadsheet data, rather than assembling base maps or developing mashups. Toucan Navigate, with its simple user interface consistent with Microsoft Office 2007 can be adopted very quickly, thus providing the information worker with access to the vast amounts of GIS files created by government entities and until now restricted to specialists.
