I have a simple question for you. I am a brand new user to Map Point and have discovered it comes with no book, nothing but the help and a tutorial. All I can seem to find is the “Map Point For Dummies” book. If you wanted to learn this program how would you go about doing it? I am a graphics design person and most of my skill is in Quark, Photoshop, Illustrator and such. I do know my way around a computer but have never worked with mapping before.



I would appreciate any advice that you could give me. I live in Orlando and if you know of anyone here that does any training I would also appreciate that information.

The Dummies book might actually be a good start. It is based around MapPoint 2002, but the interface and features have barely changed.
The main changes with the 2004 version are different/newer demographics, updated maps, and bug fixes (eg. UK map coordinates now appear in the right place!)
