which is the transformation that MP use to convert geographical coordinates (latitude,longitude) to cartographic coordinate (X,Y) to draw the map? I have supposed that this was to Gauss Boaga, but it is not.

Whoa! I have no idea. You may want to ask this on the MapPoint
newsgroup: microsoft.public.mappoint. I did a quick check of the documentation, but I was
unable to find anything. Maybe one of the Microsoft people that monitor
the newsgroup will be able to help.

My name is George and I'm looking for how to convert coordinates in visual basic to Gauss-Boaga.
Did you find something? Do you know the formula.

Gauss-Boaga is the Italian name for UTM.
Converting WGS84 to UTM is explained quite well here:

I remember reading somewhere that MP uses orthographic projection (Orthographic projection - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia). But I can't find a link to support this.
