About LinkBackswhich is the transformation that MP use to convert geographical coordinates (latitude,longitude) to cartographic coordinate (X,Y) to draw the map? I have supposed that this was to Gauss Boaga, but it is not.

newsgroup: microsoft.public.mappoint. I did a quick check of the documentation, but I was
unable to find anything. Maybe one of the Microsoft people that monitor
the newsgroup will be able to help.

Gauss-Boaga is the Italian name for UTM.
Converting WGS84 to UTM is explained quite well here:

White Belt I remember reading somewhere that MP uses orthographic projection (Orthographic projection - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia). But I can't find a link to support this.
