Transparent shapes

I am drawing colored in polygons on Mappoint and have a problem when they extend over water. The shapes color overwrites the land and water colors so that the shore lines disappear. The roads are still visible using the Zorder of behind roads, but land and water transition disappears.

Does anyone know of a solution for this?

If anyone knows a solution, please email ASAP to rick.hunter@lcibest.com

I don't know.. I don't suppose a transparent fill would suit your needs. You could try importing the waterway boundaries from a GIS file, but it's not trivial.

i notice the shorelines are VERY innacurate approximations anyway.. perhaps you can find a way to redraw them as lines? seems like it might be hard to do though.
