Hi,

Before calling Calculate() or Optimize(), can I specify that MapPoint reduce the total miles driven?

I can't find a place for me to set this, but it's possible that many moons ago I chose to minimize travel time. I kinda remember that. But I can't find the settings.

Has anybody run into this?

You have to set for each waypoint:

That sounds like a very plausible solution. That way it can be broken up by leg.

PS I used to live in Hamburg, and at the time was married to a German. We traveled to Amsterdam, and on a boat tour was able to understand whole sentences spoken in Dutch by the captain. But that was a long time ago, and it's been many year since "Ich habe Deutche gesprochen"
