Is there anyway that I can over-ride the restriction that MP places on zoom level for non NA and EU regions by any method available
I have used the spacial data import tool and now need to see the data in more detail than is currently allowed.

There is not.. try getting some GIS software, it doesn't really matter these days, but what is the format of your source data?

I'd recommend MapInfo Pro, not least because of the active support community at http://www.mapinfo-l.com. Try a re-seller like DataSourceTech.com to get a good deal.

Manifold also has a good support list and their software is a lot less expensive. I understand the performance is not super compared to MapInfo.

Others include Caliper, ArcGIS, there are a lot more.

thanks, we already have manifold with the intention of using it as a replacement for MP. We just need to do a quick demo with MP while the manifold app is being developed. I'm sure there is probably some HEX address that needs tweaking.
Probably the underlying map data will have the zoom restriction encoded by region or country.
Its a shame as it would have helped us tremendously.
