You have to get with my wife - she's currently charting soil types and matching them with wild orchids. She thinks she's just found a new species or sub-species here in Dallas County Anyway, plotting stuff like this: Yes you need to draw polygons. My Grid Imp product might help. It will draw gridded data in MapPoint. My demos use earthquake data on a 0.1 deg grid. Coordinates are in longitude, latitude. Do you have data like that? I was thinking recently, that an option to use UK map coordinates (OSGB grid references) would be useful. I'm guessing you are probably using coordinates in metres rather than degrees? (if so, the OSGB GR system is essentially a metre coordinate relative to a fixed point - so there's a similarity) If Grid Imp doesn't do exactly what you require, then it could be modified. I have some ideas of modifications that could be made. Depending on the modification, I may add it to the standard version, or I could create a special version for you. Richard
