Using MapPoint on my website

I have a website that allows people to search for names of people and if they are in my database, it will display their name, address, etc. Currently, I have a link on the address results that allows a web user to click on and it will take them to MapQuest and map the address.

Instead of using MapQuest, can I do this with MapPoint on my own website instead of redirecting them off of my site? It would be much nicer to incorporate a small map on one of my webpages. I physically have the server with Server 2003, SQL 2000 and MapPoint loaded.

if you are familiar with asp.net then its an easy task with the help of web service..
web service gives you evaluation accounts for 45 days and you can use it to get the maps.
you can do it yourself if you are having little programming knowledge.

Re: Using MapPoint on my website

Microsoft has two separate platforms for web site integration, the first is the MapPoint Web Service. This has been around for a long time and might be considered to be more similar to MapQuest. This requires that you apply for developer credentials --

The newer platform is Microsoft Virtual Earth (VE), this is what powers Live Local Search. This is open i.e.does not require authentication but still has restrictions on commercial use. VE is more like Google Maps.

hope this helps.
