    Hi,

I managed to get something working but not quite what I wanted.
Because I am using TOleContainer therefore it takes control of the whole of the form, but I want to include my own controls in the form as well.

Any one has got a work around this problem.

    Hi,

Dont know this from the top of my head, but you have to derive from a TCustomControl. The TMappoint. Then the TMappoint can return a TOleContainer. Have no example at hand at the moment.

I have commercial Delphi 5 component (not ActiveX) for Mappoint 2002 for this. But this forum is not to discuss commercial things. If you are interested you can email me private.

On the other hand I will try to help as much as I can as everyone here does of course

I have choosen a different approach for MapPoint and Delphi. I dont use the OLE-container but copy the map (via automation) into the clipboard and then draw the map on my canvas. The advantage ist that I can define my own layers and graphical symbols, not only the poor ones from MapPoint. And it is much faster.

You may have a look at the result at www.free-routing.com.

    Hello,

I visited your website and your application is really looking cool.
Can you explain me how you copy the map and how to scroll the map on the form after the drawing.
