| Validating City/State Names We would like to compare spellings BEFORE we map, as part of the data validation process of the system, so we can flag and correct discrepancies. Is there a table within MapPoint we can access programatically that has location info (name, state, etc) ? We need such table to automate the validation. Any suggestions? I would just make a table in FoxPro.

There is no table in MapPoint that you can access listing all the place names... you might find some CASS correction software appropriate, a couple vendors you could try are GreatData and MelissaData. Eric
