I just started using mappoint. Is there any way to use the "mappoint-progressbar" dialog for calculate/optimizing the route?
Something like map.findAddressResults open the "manual-address-search" dialog.
Or do i have to implement a progressbar marquee and optimize the route in an extra thread?!

Yes you will have to produce your own progress bar, but you are not going to be able to show any real indication of progress - just "spinning wheels" or "working..." type progress.
