Does your GPS support NMEA? If so, then yes you should be able to.

Most GPS receivers support NMEA, although you may have to change a setting on the GPS.

The NMEA specification states a serial/RS-232 interface, but an increasing number of receivers only have USB. Hence they come with software to make the USB input look like a serial port matching the NMEA spec. You will have to install this software.

MapPoint/Streets&Trips/AutoRoute will then see the receiver as an NMEA device rather than a USB device.
