I am a new guy here. I browsed a bit and searched for VC++ and C++ and found nothing.

Are there any developers here that use VC++ with MapPoint 2004, is it possible, am I doomed. My app is MFC but I don't require an MFC layer for MapPoint.

Sorry if this is an inappropriate question. If so please provide any info on an appropriate place to find information or give me the secret to searching for VC++ users.

What I need to do is draw maps, set scale and position (hopefully smoothly scroll the maps) and draw bitmaps over the map that I provide.
