I would like to know if there is a way to ONLY view the state or territory that you are zooming in on, rather than having all the other areas show up on the map as well.

(I know my questions are very elementary, but I am the only person in my company who knows this program and I don't know it very well. Plus, my software did not come with an instruction manual - Can you believe it?)

The short answer is no, but there might be couple work-arounds.. 1.) trace a white freeform (white shading, white line) over all the other areas you want to cover 2.) find a shape or mif/mid file covering the area you want to hide, and import that (white/white as above).
