Virtual Earth demos at the Microsoft TechDays, Lisbon, Portugal

Here are the demos I just did in the "INT74 - Administração Pública Electrónica: Gov 2.0" session

• Love Lewisham (I love this one!): http://www.lovelewisham.org/Public/Images.aspx? - you see here the pictures uploded by citizens to point issues to the city cleaning servies. If you clikc on "map" below the images, you'll see where the issue is located. Then, if you go to an older page like this one http://www.lovelewisham.org/Public/Images.aspx?pageIndex=20# you can see the follow up by the city cleaning team => "Job has been completed" - clikc on the details to see the "before-after" images. I love it :-)
• Buckeye Traffic: http://www.buckeyetraffic.org/ very nice integration with traffic data, risk management, and live webcam feeds!
• California Shool Finder http://www.schoolfinder.ca.gov/ is a nice one also
• The Miami Zoning application http://gis.miamigov.com/cityofmiamive/ is very interesting as it allows citizens to check details on a digital cadastre - who owns a parcel, what is it designed for, etc.
• We announced some weeks ago the NYC Transit - Trip Planner http://tripplanner.mta.info/. Very nice website allowing visitors to prepare for sight seeing or to simply go to work!

I want to thank the 45 people (who are still in the room as I'm blogging - 4 MS Partners are alos presenting the solutions to this Public Sector audience) who attended my session. Well in fact it's more 50+ people taking into account the one outside the room, standing at the door ;-)
