I am planning to develop an application in visual studio.net in which ,

i have to use the microsoft map point for displaying maps with all the
associated functions.

Try searching this forum for visual studio.net, make sure you specify all terms. I found this for instance:

Another way is through google:

But first, what component of VS.net ? you mean like VB.net? if so you can modify the search terms to the appropriate component and probably find a lot more pertinent search results.
