We are continually evaluating new markets for our mapping products. As you would expect, our main decision criteria are the availability of good map data (we license most of our map data from vendors like NavTech) and market size. Asia is a growth market for Microsoft, and we would like to provide maps for that region, however at this point in time the available map data is not sufficient for us to offer a MapPoint version for Asia. |
