| www.mappoint.msn.com I've been having problem finding some postal code (I don't find them at all) in canada with my 2002 version of MapPoint. When I search for the same postal code in www.mappoint.msn.com I find them perfectly. Is www.mappoint.msn.com using a better version of MapPoint or is it just using it better ? How can I find these in my version of MapPoint ? Thanks, Remy |

Can you give an example.

It's probably due to the fact that the MapPoint web service has more up-to-date information than the MapPoint 2002 stand-alone application. It would be my assumption that MapPoint 2004 will bring the data up to parity with the web service. john |

| Example
Here is an example : H1N 3W3 When I search for this postal code in MapPoint 2002 I don't find anything but if I search it on www.mappoint.com I find the right place ! Also, there is an area that all the postal code start with H7J (wich is the forward sortation area, FSA) that doesn't seem to exist in MapPoint 2002 but do exist in www.mappoint.com !! If theses things are to be corrected in the 2004 version of MapPoint I'm going to buy it !!! What do you thing the odds are that the problem is going to be corrected and is there a way to know it BEFORE I spend money on the software ? Thanks, Remy |
