    Code:
        For itmCount = 1 To fr.Count
        Set itm = fr.Item(itmCount)
If TypeOf itm Is Location Then
            Select Case itm.type
                Case geoShowByRegion2
            End Select
        End If
        Set itm = Nothing
        Next
Ah yeah your coding is definitely cleaner.

My first problem was that I needed to pass in pixel coordinates instead of lat/lon

    Code:
    Set objFR = objMap.ObjectsFromPoint(objMap.LocationToX(objLoc), objMap.LocationToY(objLoc))

Yeah, I don't really understand it. For me, sometimes it was the Pushpin Name and sometimes it's empty. Maybe it's meant to me a placeholder for dataset pushpins? (whether or not one is found)

Re: Zip code and county names from address

I manged to separate the data, ie, street name in one column, city and state. In addition, we have latitude and longitude. Will this make it easier to get accurate Zip code and County information?

Don't know about more accurate, as that depends on the source of your lat/long information (I saved mine after the address lookup). It will however be faster than looking up the address; but I'm not sure it will be faster than reading an existing pushpins dataset.

If the pushpins dataset isn't present, then using the lat/long information should be quicker than having to place the pushpins.

I found what really increased my speed dealing with counties, was to lower my altitude setting to about 1000 ft. When I was higher, I was having to process much more data. Think of it as a cone. The higher you are, the more area the cone will cover and the more data is returned. The lower the altitude, the less area covered, and the less data returned. Lowering the altitude alone, sped up my app by a factor of 5!
